Showerwall has promoted Gareth Griffiths to the role of Commercial Director, as the wall panel brand continues to buck the market trend with significant sales growth.
Griffiths, who has previously worked in Key Account Manager and Sales Director roles at Showerwall, will now take the lead on shaping how the Newcastle-under-Lyme-based manufacturer and supplier can best support its growing network of UK customers.
He brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to the role and will be continuing the business' customer-first focus, as part of Showerwall's ambitious growth plans.
He commented: "I'm delighted to be taking on a new role and responsibilities, and will be very much focusing on what we've been building as a team and strengthening that even further, so we can deliver exceptional levels of customer service.
"I know the business inside out and I know what we want to achieve – I'll be continuing to have a strong customer-facing presence to help guide this.
"We know that the wider market conditions are challenging but we're gaining share in a growing product category, and will continue to invest in the service, support and product innovation we offer our customers.
"I'm committed to staying close to our customers, continuously learning what they need from us, while also pushing Showerwall behind the scenes to be the best it can be."
Griffiths has been in the position of Sales Director at Showerwall for just under two years. His appointment follows the departure of Katie Cope, who has been Head of Showerwall since Bathroom Brands Group acquired the business in October 2024.
Patrick Riley, Bathroom Brands Group Co-Founder, said: "At Bathroom Brands, we are thrilled that Gareth is moving into the role of Commercial Director of Showerwall.
"He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the bathroom industry, the Showerwall brand and our network of customers.
"We wish Katie all the very best for her next chapter, but we know having Gareth take up the reigns will ensure the continuation of Showerwall's excellent leadership and growth."
