The promotion is the latest step in Dave Ganley's career at Keyline, having first joined the business as a management trainee in 2007.
The UK's leading civils and drainage specialist, Keyline, has promoted Dave Ganley to Regional Director for the north.
Ganley, who has developed his career at Keyline over 19 years, is responsible for 280 employees and 21 branches and two dedicated sales offices across the company's northern region, which extends from Inverness in Scotland to Worcestershire in the south.
The promotion is the latest step in Ganley's career at Keyline, having first joined the business as a management trainee in 2007.
Following the two-year programme, which included an HND qualification in business and finance, Ganley developed through a range of roles within the business, from frontline sales to branch manager, and in 2016 his branch in Widnes was named Branch of the Year.
Ganley said: "When I began my career at Keyline as a management trainee, I was really inspired by the leadership that I witnessed, both in the branch and more broadly. That really gave me something to aspire to in terms of a leadership model, particularly in supporting and upskilling the people in the business.
"Over the last 19 years I've seen an awful lot of changes in the sector, from the recession in 2008 to COVID lockdown and the impact events like those have had. We've been a really resilient business and a lot of that comes down to the people who are working hard to build great relationships with our customers.
"We've got a lot of large-scale infrastructure projects that we're delighted to be supplying in the region at the moment. I want to make sure that our people are upskilled to meet current demands and ready to face whatever challenges the sector may be presented with next."
Keyline is the only UK civils merchant to have achieved PAS2080:2023 accreditation, demonstrating that it measures, manages and reduces carbon emissions across its supply chain.
Ganley continued: "One of our main pillars at Keyline is world class standards and I'm really proud of how seriously the business takes our commitment and responsibility to decarbonisation of the supply chain.
"We've got 41 branches in our network, supported by our dedicated technical team, so it feels absolutely right to be leading the way on helping the sector to consider and reduce levels of carbon right across the supply chain."
