READING: The Wickes store in Weldale Street is to move to an empty unit at Oxford Road Retail Park.
Anne Purdie, spokeswoman for Wickes said: "Wickes will be opening a new store in Oxford Road by the end of 2009 and our current store in Weldale Street will close at the same time.
"This great new Wickes store will offer an extended range of products, including our full kitchen and bathroom offer, plus some additional features," she said, adding, "Our Reading store staff will be transferring to the Oxford Road premises, and we are extremely pleased that this relocation venture will also create a number of new local job opportunities."
