Travis Perkins appoints non-executive director

NORTHAMPTON: Travis Perkins has appointed Ruth Anderson as a non-executive director. 

NORTHAMPTON: Travis Perkins has appointed Ruth Anderson as a non-executive director. 

Ms Anderson is a chartered accountant and has held a number of positions with KPMG. She is also a non-executive director and chair of the audit committee of Ocado. On appointment, she will join the company's audit committee.

Robert Walker, chairman of Travis Perkins, said: "We are delighted to welcome Ruth to our board as a director. Her extensive experience of advising a broad range of companies across many business sectors will be of great value to the board, and with her financial background, she will be an important addition to our audit committee."

Ms Anderson does not hold any shares in the company.
