Two ‘pots’ of bidding money – one ‘for’ and one ‘against’ Rob Simpson wearing the Port Vale kit – were combined at the end of the day with funds raised by raffling a signed Stoke City football (won by SCA’s Alan Broadley). The total raised for Sport Relief was £1,000, in just under a week.
