LEICESTER: Plumbing Heating Supplies has taken on Riomay's redesigned Ecotube system. The merchant will be offering the kit nationally from all of its 330 outlets from this month.
Ecotube features all the equipment required to install a fully functioning solar water heating system.
The kit was initially trialled in 2009 across selected branches of heating and plumbing merchant, PTS and following what the company said was "the unprecedented rise sales", Ecotube is now being rolled out to all the merchant’s branches.
Its patented design features an absorber plate that can be custom-angled to gain maximum exposure to the sun's rays. This flexibility means the Ecotubecan be mounted (south-facing) either vertically on a wall, on a flat roof or on any pitch roof.
