LONDON: Plant hire and garden sales are growth areas for merchants according to John Drennan, director at builders' merchant Buildbase.
He said that enquiries for landscaping and exterior renovation have risen as well along with increased demand for plant hire. The latter driven by contractors reluctant to spend capital to buy plant or machinery, he said.
