BIDEFORD: Bideford Pilot Gig Club said a big 'thank you' this week to local builders merchant Rawle Gammon and Baker and its branch manager John Mounce for sponsoring the club with a "state of the art" boat cover, which will allow the club's boat to stay dry and the wood to "breathe".
BIDEFORD: Bideford Pilot Gig Club said a big 'thank you' this week to local builders merchant Rawle Gammon and Baker and its branch manager John Mounce for sponsoring the club with a "state of the art" boat cover, which will allow the club's boat to stay dry and the wood to "breathe".
The club is a year old but has grown considerably and now has more than 40 rowing members. It is actively fund raising to buy a brand new gig boat to cater for its growing members.
