Patrick Gerard Small from Cullenramer Road in Dungannon, pleaded guilty to two counts of cheating The Queen, HM Revenue and Customs commissioners and Inland Revenue. The fraud took place over a 17 year period.
Prosecuting QC, Stephen Fowler asked that the remaining 27 counts remain "on the books" and that confiscation proceedings be postponed until November.
Earlier this year Small's wife, Mary Elizabeth of the same address, also pleaded to a series of fraud charges including three of cheating public revenue and 11 of false accounting.
Mr Justice Hart released Small on continuing bail and adjourned passing sentence on the husband and wife until November.
