ORMSKIRK: The Jewson depot in Hattersley Centre on Burscough Road can expect increased retail trade when an Asda supermarket opens.
A spokesman for ASDA said it had applied for permission to create a new branch in the centre, also home to Halford's, Focus, and Jewson. The planning application is due to be heard next month.
