DUBLIN: Building costs have fallen for the second year in Ireland according to figures from the Society of Chartered Surveyors.

The average cost of rebuilding a house in Ireland is down almost 8% on top of a fall of 5% the previous year.

Dublin recorded the largest fall, nearly 9%, where building costs now stand at £1748 a square metre.
