SCOTLAND: Grafton Merchanting GB has added two new branches to its UK network in Aberdeen and Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
SCOTLAND: Grafton Merchanting GB has added two new branches to its UK network in Aberdeen and Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis.
Big Ord is a single site builders' merchant specialising in drainage and pipeline products and is based in Dyce, Aberdeen. The business will trade as PDM, as part of GMGB’s specialist drainage/pipeline brand, bringing the total number of branches to eight. Jim Leith remains with the business as branch manager.
GMGB has also acquired Bain Morrison & Co, a single branch merchant in Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis. Owners John and Joan Hay are staying with the business, with Mr Hay as branch manager. This timber and general builders' merchant was established in 1901 and joins the Buildbase network.
