MANCHESTER: The Prime Minister David Cameron said plans to revamp the council house right-to-buy scheme will generate extra cash to build more homes.
MANCHESTER: The Prime Minister David Cameron said plans to revamp the council house right-to-buy scheme will generate extra cash to build more homes.
House builders will also get access to thousands of acres of land to build on Cameron said in an interview on the Andrew Marr Show.
"We are going to make over government land to house builders on the basis they can start building now and pay for the land when they sell homes," he said.
"That could build another 100 000 homes and create 200 000 jobs."
