HOLYWOOD, CO DOWN: A building firm specialising in energy efficient homes has been placed into administration. Sky Developments (NI) built Northern Ireland's first carbon neutral home. The so-called 'Green House' was developed at the Esplanade in Holywood and was praised as an innovative, sustainable development. The firm went on to work on a series of developments including a social housing project in Newtownards. Financial consultants BDO were appointed as administrators last week. The construction and development sector in Northern Ireland has been badly affected by the economic downturn.
