While the Labour Party launches its manifesto, Mr Cameron is visiting Jewson's branch in Reading West, a marginal constituency that is a Conservative target seat.

Jewson chief executive Peter Hindle has added his name to the list of 150 business people campaigning against higher National Insurance contributions the Government, if elected, plans for 2011.

Mr Cameron will meet staff and customers at Jewson and highlight his party's campaign against the tax change. The Tory leader will travel on to west London for a similar presentation to employees of another of the signed-up businesses.
