LONDON: Ideal’s Code Combi boiler was launched yesterday at a press event in the capital.

The unit has all the benefits of the previous Logic models, and features a recuperator fitted in the flue outlet. The Code Combi pre-heats the incoming cold DHW feed to reduce energy consumption.

Available in outputs of 26kW, 33kW and 38kW, the product is capable of supporting up to Level 4 of the Code for Sustainable Homes, says Ideal.

Each boiler is supplied as a complete package, incorporating concealed system connections and filling loop, built-in automatic bypass and a flying lead to streamline installation even further.

Other features include a push and clip flue turret connection, separately labelled hardware pack components, a universal condensate pipe connection and fully modulating operation.

Digital operating and diagnostics displays and a variety of fluing options makes for a more straightforward installation when replacing an existing appliance. Frost protection is built in, while weather compensation controls are available as an option.
