DERBYSHIRE: The Station Road branch of Clower and Son reopens this week after seven months of closure.
The branch in Langley Mill closed in February and was planned to reopen next year after an extensive refurbishment project.
Customer demand forced a rethink and a sales area has been built ahead of schedule, the company said.
Clower and Son is one of Derbyshire's oldest merchants: it started in Ripley 125 years ago.
