WALES: Catnic, a key player in steel lintels and expanded metal lath building products, has aligned its regional sales strategy with several major appointments.

Charmaine Petty joins the company as marketing manager. She comes from Catnic's parent company, Tata Steel Construction Products. Ms Petty will take the 'Make it Happen' campaign to new market sectors. "I am looking forward to evolving this strategy to provide a fresh approach to the way we push specification sales back through the merchant branch by engaging housebuilders and architects, too," she commented.

David Cuddihy is the company's product manager. "Ensuring merchants have the right products in branch at the right time is crucial for maximising sales opportunities," he said. "Watching shifting trends and keeping the merchant abreast of the latest industry requirements is part of our role as a supplier partner. We will also ensure that products are available to meet merchants' needs."

Underpinning Catnic's aim to 'Make it Happen' for merchants is a newly-aligned regional approach to product sales with Nina Meneghetti joining the company as a sales manager for the North West and Wales.

Sales manager Victoria Fiddies is expanding her role to cover the Irish market as well as the East Midlands.
