CHINA: B&Q has closed another store in Nanjing reducing its stores in the city from four to one. Kingfisher, parent company of B&Q China, has reduced the number of its Chinese retail stores from 63 to 41 during the past two years and 17 of the remaining stores could face reductions in size.

Kingfisher's financial report for 2010/11 showed that B&Q making large losses in the Chinese market and this was the fourth consecutive year for the company to make losses.
