YORK: Lytag, the leading supplier of secondary lightweight aggregate, has appointed Andrew Cross to the role of technical and quality manager.
YORK: Lytag, the leading supplier of secondary lightweight aggregate, has appointed Andrew Cross to the role of technical and quality manager.
Mr Cross, who began the role in November 2011, is based at the business’ head office in North Yorkshire and is providing technical expertise for users of Lytag lightweight aggregate (LWA) across the globe.
Mr Cross is an experienced materials technologist who holds a diploma in Advanced Concrete Technology. As well as expert knowledge of lightweight aggregate application, ready mixed concrete and precast concrete, he brings extensive experience to his new role. Mr Cross has worked in the aggregate and concrete industries for more than 15 years, and he joins Lytag following roles including national technical manager at Marshalls and Technical Quality and improvement manager at CEMEX.
