NORWICH: A&G, the supplier of premium hard landscaping products, organised an Open Day for paving installers and merchant members of the H&B Independent Buying Group.
NORWICH: A&G, the supplier of premium hard landscaping products, organised an Open Day for paving installers and merchant members of the H&B Independent Buying Group.
The event was held at Longwater Construction Supplies in Norwich. A new display showcasing A&G's products was purposely built. Local pavers and all H&B merchant members were invited to Longwater to see the display, meet the A&G team and learn more about its products.
It was also an opportunity to get a copy of A&G's 2012 consumer brochure, Outside Rooms.
The event was split over two days. The first day was open to local installers, who were introduced to A&G's premium product range. They were also shown how to build A&G's unique retaining wall and received a certificate at the end to acknowledge their new skill.
The second day was for merchants only. Attendees included H&B members Stuart East of East Building Supplies, Tony Valentine of George Tufts & Son and Peter Buttle of Buttle plc.
Neil Carter, managing director of Longwater Construction Supplies, said: "We were pleased with the event and have been impressed with A&G's proactive approach.
"The company is a new supplier to the H&;B Buying Group and it's really good to see a supplier actively engaging with members and helping to arrange events like this.
"The new display A&G has built for Longwater is excellent. Both the new consumer brochure and display will be used to help our customers visualise what can be achieved with their outdoor space, using a range of A&G's unique and innovative products."
H&B members who were unable to attend the event because of its location asked A&G to set up regional roadshows so that more merchants and installers can see Outside Rooms first-hand. A&G said it was planning to organise further events over the next few months.
