UK: Suppliers to the h&b buying group recently met members at two Supplier Development Days held in Bristol and Leicester.
The format of each day was likened to speed-dating, with h&b member companies located at tables in the meeting room, being visited by suppliers for 20 minute sessions throughout the day.
In all 24 members and 40 suppliers attended each venue – adding up to a total of 672 appointments over the two days.
Feedback from members and suppliers was overwhelmingly positive, and the consensus was that it was time well spent: it was a great time saver having so many suppliers & merchants together in one place. The limited contact time meant that no time was wasted as both parties got down to brass tacks with alacrity. It was a great opportunity for new suppliers to make contact and for

The event was master-minded by h&b General Manager Martin Mansfield, and Michelle Cronje, Sales Office Manager of NMBS.
